Will there be like a navy still? Cuse water can be just navigated by aerospace. Will we just have like a Air Force that can go in space and atmospheres of planets and maybe a Army for close quarters? I play video games all the time that reference space marines lol.
Sorry if this question is misplaced just kind of random today.

Right now the USAF is charged with defending space. I see if things go as they have in the past, we will have an independent Space Command, separate from the USAF like the USAF separated from the US ARMY after WW II. It is quite likely if we have "large" warships in space they will be run like Navy ships are today. For that reason I see the Space Command as wanting more small "fighter plane" type ships than bigger ships that would be more like Naval vessels.

In other words, the same stupid arguments between the branches today will carry into the future.

any manufacturing engineering classes not already in your AE program. It’s the MEs that build stuff. If you want to also design, take the materials engineering classes too. You’ll need both to design and manufacture the non-electrical items on your list. Electrical it a totally separate program.

Typical 30 year old AEs earn over $100,000. Very few are underemployed.

You’re buying into too much propaganda instead of focusing on the FACTS. 98% of AEs who are over 30 are very employed and living a very good life.

This country would need to give far fewer handouts if there were more 30+ year olds with solid degrees like that.

Who do you think buys the fancy houses and fancy cars? It’s not typically high school drop outs.

22 year old engineers had it rough in 1980. But, I bet 90% of those same "kids" earn over $100,000 per year and have nice houses.

I don’t know of even 1 engineer who is over 30 years old who is underemployed. They have nice cars, nice homes, solid jobs, solid benefits, and solid 401ks.

Maybe you should ask him to see his diploma.

Despite his degree, we need people to do manual labor such as working at BB. If you have ever read Brave New World, we can’t be all CEOs or presidents or who is going to give us our breakfast when we do a drive through at McDonald’s?

But I can’t imagine anyone with a MSAE working at BB or even turning in a job application. However, I have no right to judge people so whatever he has to do, he has to do. Maybe he is a prince from a country we have never heard of with his picture on his own currency. I know that the job market outlook for AE isn’t too great compared to other engineering, but he should be able to get a job as some kind of engineer, if he wants.
