He says he likes his job just because he just has to "be there". His degree is from USC also which is a pretty damn good engineering school (and expensive too).

Typical 30 year old AEs earn over $100,000. Very few are underemployed.
You’re buying into too much propaganda instead of focusing on the FACTS. 98% of AEs who are over 30 are very employed and living a very good life.
This country would need to give far fewer handouts if there were more 30+ year olds with solid degrees like that.
Who do you think buys the fancy houses and fancy cars? It’s not typically high school drop outs.
22 year old engineers had it rough in 1980. But, I bet 90% of those same "kids" earn over $100,000 per year and have nice houses.
I don’t know of even 1 engineer who is over 30 years old who is underemployed. They have nice cars, nice homes, solid jobs, solid benefits, and solid 401ks.
